This policy applies to our website, accounts, support channels, job and form discovery features, document/profile tools, payments, application assistance, and AI-assisted features. 4. Consent and your choices
We process data for the purposes explained when it is collected, to deliver services you request, with your consent where required, and for legitimate security and legal purposes permitted by applicable law. You may withdraw consent for optional processing by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing and may prevent us from completing a service that requires the data.
5. When we share data
We do not sell personal data. We may share only the data reasonably needed with:
- the relevant government portal, recruiting body, examination authority, or service portal when you authorise application assistance;
- payment processors such as Razorpay, banks, and fraud-prevention providers;
- hosting, storage, email, messaging, analytics, customer-support, security, and AI technology providers acting for us;
- professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or a successor in a genuine business reorganisation; and
- courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other parties when disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Some providers may process data outside your state or outside India, subject to contractual safeguards and any transfer restrictions imposed by applicable law.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for sign-in, language, session, security, and preferences. We may use measurement technologies to understand visits and improve performance. Browser controls can block non-essential cookies, but blocking essential cookies may affect account features. Third-party links and embedded tools may set their own cookies.
7. Retention
We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the requested service, account operation, security, disputes, and legal or financial record-keeping. Retention varies by record type. When data is no longer needed, we delete, anonymise, or securely isolate it. A deletion request may not cover records that must be retained by law or for an active dispute, refund, fraud investigation, or application requested by you.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the data and service. No internet or storage system is completely secure. Keep your password and OTP confidential, use a unique password, sign out on shared devices, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access to a summary of your data, correction, completion, updating, deletion, consent withdrawal, grievance redressal, or nomination where available. We may verify identity before acting and will explain if a request cannot be completed.
10. Children
Digital Kona is not directed to children. A person under 18 should not create an account or upload personal data unless the service is legally available to them and a parent or lawful guardian has provided any consent required by law. Contact us if you believe a child supplied data without appropriate permission.
11. AI-assisted features
Assistant responses may be generated using third-party AI technology and may be inaccurate. Do not enter passwords, OTPs, payment PINs, full financial credentials, or unnecessary identity information in chat. We may review interactions for safety, support, and service improvement as permitted by law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where a material change requires it.
